Significant changes are happening at San Juan Hills Golf Club, namely, a brand-new driving range! The upgraded facility features nine elevated target greens, an enhanced parking lot, state-of-the-art ball machines, and all-new restroom facilities, to name a few. Construction at the previous driving range is underway for another exciting addition: a brand new youth athletic complex. In the coming months, even more high-tech amenities will be added, including enhanced analytics and computer-generated games powered by an impressive radar system, covered tee boxes, an elevated deck, an extensive practice putting green, and a dedicated space for chipping. A Grand Opening celebration will commence once the facility is complete.
The club’s centerpiece remains the award-winning 18-hole public course itself, voted Best Golf Course in Orange County in 2022 by the Orange County Register. General Manager Ryan Brown calls their In-Club program “the best player’s card in SoCal,” offering perks like a 14-day booking window, early twilight tee times, discounts in the shop and sports bar, and Happy Hour pricing on range buckets all day. A new Driving Range membership program is also on the way to align with the club’s incoming technology.
Hungry? The club’s Sports Bar and Grill tees up delicious food, beverages, games, and fun. The fall menu rolls out soon, featuring a new savory sirloin cut entrée and decadent milkshakes. The rotating Fall Game Day options include Coconut Shrimp, Fried Artichoke Basket, Irish Nachos, and—a club favorite—XXL Loaded Nachos. With more than 40 flat screens in the room, there’s not a bad seat in the house to cheer on your favorite sports team.
Not a sports fan? Come down Thursdays from 7-11pm for Industry Night. Open to all, these weekly happenings allow local vendors to showcase their food, beverages, and products. They will also be serving up their own Sports Bar and Grill specials. After eating and browsing, cap off the night with a round on their Glow Putting Course.
Fridays from 6:30-9:30pm and Saturdays from 6-9pm, grab your friends and family and enjoy dinner, drinks, and free live musical entertainment on the patio. Looking ahead, the Thanksgiving Day Turkey Shoot returns this fall, complete with breakfast and an 8am shotgun start.
