Frank Torriero, owner of Sun Tamers, expanded his vision in December 2024 by acquiring Mission Viejo Glass, uniting two of Orange County’s most respected home improvement companies into one dynamic force for quality and service. A long-time Orange County resident, Frank is deeply rooted in the community, with his wife, Robin, by his side for 25 years as they raised their three boys, Taylor, Peyton and Greyson, making this new chapter both a professional milestone and a personal commitment to serving local families.
Frank’s success comes from surrounding himself with the best people. His team includes seasoned professionals with decades of experience in customer service, operations, and design. Frank is proud of his team’s unmatched dedication, with some members having worked alongside him for nearly 20 years. Together, they serve over 6,000 clients each year with professionalism and heart.
For more than two decades, Sun Tamers has partnered with Mission Viejo Glass. Now, Frank is officially taking the reins, bringing the two businesses under one roof at their newly renovated showroom on Camino Capistrano in Laguna Niguel. Customers can now explore a wider range of solutions for both glass and sun control in one convenient space.
Mission Viejo Glass has proudly served South Orange County since 1974, when it was founded by Dick and Judy Satterlee. As one of the first full-service glass shops in the area, it quickly became a community fixture known for craftsmanship, innovation, and customer care. In 2003, the Byrne family took the reins, continuing that legacy with a strong focus on integrity and service. For more than 20 years, they upheld Mission Viejo Glass’s reputation as a respected leader in the local glass industry.
When Jim Byrne’s health declined, the family made the heartfelt decision to step back and focus on his well-being. They knew the company’s future belonged in the hands of someone who understood its values and deep community roots.
That someone was Frank Torriero.
